SenatorInYourCornerBlueGURNEE - Senator Melinda Bush (D-Grayslake) will be holding her second of four Senator in Your Corner meetings next Wednesday, August 13, in Gurnee.  The meeting will be held at the Gurnee Village Hall (325 O’Plaine Road, Gurnee, IL) from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

“After a year and a half as your Senator, I believe more than ever that Illinois’ situation would improve if all elected officials made direct conversation with area residents a high priority,” Bush said.

Senator Bush will spend the majority of the time answering questions and requesting feedback from attendees, but she will also talk about this year’s legislative activity and her long-term economic development strategy.

Residents are encouraged to bring any issues to the town hall, where she and her team will be ready to assist them.

“Illinois needs creative long-term solutions to our budget problems, including a comprehensive plan that reduces income and property taxes while finding ways to fill revenue holes. I hope the residents of Gurnee will join me to discuss jobs, employment and Lake County’s economic future.”

Next Wednesday’s Senator in Your Corner meeting is open to the public. Senator Bush encourages anyone with questions or concerns to come join her for candid conversation about state and local government issues.
