RoundLakeSeniorFairROUND LAKE BEACH – Senator Melinda Bush (D-Grayslake) is excited to announce an upcoming Senior Fair in Round Lake.

The event will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Village of Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center (2700 Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach, IL).

“This fair is designed to give seniors access to diverse, vital services in one convenient location,” Senator Bush said.  “It will provide seniors a better understanding of the many resources available to them.”

The Round Lake Area Senior Fair is a free event for area seniors. Attendees can receive free health screenings and obtain information on reduced cost health services. Updated information on senior driving and disability parking, senior fraud, senior transportation and housing and programming and benefit information will also be available. Veteran service agencies will also be on-site to assist those with veteran specific needs or questions.

Senator Bush encourages all seniors who are interested in obtaining information on issues that affect them to attend the Round Lake Area Senior Fair next Wednesday.  Individuals can also contact Senator Bush’s district office at 847-548-5631 for additional information about agencies and service providers that will be available at the fair.
